Niall hugged a crying fan that had gotten hurt and talked with her for awhile. Liam looked at Niall and he smiled because he honestly didn’t know anyone who cared so much about other people. Later that day Niall convinced a girl that she was indeed beautiful, and Liam wondered how he could always see the beauty in someone else, but never the beauty he was inside and out. 

Days and weeks and months passed. Niall continued being a to-go-to person for really anyone alive. Liam admired Niall for this and actually he admired Niall in general. Niall had been the only one who had been reallythere for Liam after Danielle had broken up with him. Not that Liam thought much of the break up in the end because he realized his heart belonged to someone else. A particular Irish boy, who happened to be his bandmate and bestfriend. 

Niall didn’t see how amazing he was, how good he was, and how much people laughed to him. On the outside he wore a smile and it glowed like the sun, but on the inside it was dark like a rainstorm, and the result of those two was not a rainbow. Niall never expected anyone to follow him when he went to the roof of the hotel. Liam looked at Niall standing by the edge. they were both crying. “You care?” Niall asked. “I care.” Liam said. Niall looked down at the road and the police wagons that had arrived. Liam looked at him and said, “If you jump, I’ll jump too.” He took Niall’s hand and tehy looked into eachother’s eyes. “I don’t think I’ll jump.” Niall bit his lip. “Good.”Liam smiled. “Why do you care?” Niall asked. “Because I love you.” Liam awnsered truthfully. It wasn’t much of a problem to say the words for Liam, not after he had almost lost him, not after he had almost been to late. Down at the ground the people watched the two boys in fear. Everybody held their breaths. Especially their fellow bandmates. The people prayed because they wanted everything to end okay. Up at the roof Niall bit his lip again. “I think I love you too.” Niall said his voice broken. Liam wrapped his arms around Niall and the boys just stood there hugging eachother for a few minutes. “people care?” Niall asked looking down at the ground after awhile. “Everybody cares Niall, you know why? Because you are the most amazing person in the world, because you are nice and you help people, you are always there when people are in need, you are just you and that’s a loveable, gorgeous, fantastic boy.” Liam said his eyes getting teary. Niall teared up too. They stared at eachother again and then their lips met a few moments later. The crowd down at the ground smiled. 

In the end Niall still smiled on the outside, the smile the glew like the sun. Inside there was no more darkness, it was filled with happiness and all things beautiful. Niall was so glad he never actually jumped. Even more glad he was that he and Liam had gotten togheter. he finally felt loved and that was all he had ever wanted.
