Liam lied down on her queen size bed. She was soaking wet and tired. Too many things had happened and she couldn’t take it anymore. She wanted to tell Niall how she felt, she really did, but it would just ruin things between them, besides there was no way she could come out anymore without people thinking it was a publicity stunt after what Louis did today. In other words she was metaphorically fucked. Liam felt tears streaming down her cheeks. She cursed under her breath. She was always trying not to feel too much but the problem was that all her feelings came out at once and at those times there was no way to hide them. She heard the door of her apartment being opened. Liam swallowed. “Who’s there?” she shouted. “It’s Niall.” she heard. Liam really wasn’t in the mood to talk with Niall know, as there was no way to explain why she cried. “BUGGER OFF!” Liam shouted. “YOU KNOW I WON’T!” Niall shouted back. Liam cursed under her breath again. She heard Niall’s footsteps coming closer to her bedroom. Liam stood up quickly, wiped away her tears and brushed her hair, so she’d atleast look a little presentable. “Seriously Liam what’s going on?! You’ve been acting weird and fucked up all day!” Niall shouted through the door. “Nothing.” Liam shouted. Niall opened the door. “oh really?!” she said unconvinced. “I’m just on my period.” Liam sighed. “You were last week.” Niall stated matter-of-factly. Liam once again cursed under her breath. “Just tell me” Niall begged. “Nope.” Liam shook her head. Niall’s lip trembled. “Well I am going.” She stated and walked away. The moment Niall left Liam banged her head against a wall. Then she slid down the wall and started to cry again.

Niall walked to her own apartment, which was just a few blocks away from Liam’s. She hated not knowing what was going on, and now everybody seemed to know about things and have little secret and nobody wanted to tell her. She started to feel more and more lonely. The loneliness wasn’t something new, Liam being off with her however was. Niall couldn’t take it anymore. She wanted to call Simon tell him to replace her with someone else, but Simon didn’t answer his phone. Niall was nearly home when she turned around and ran towards the river.. She was about to jump in it when her phone rang. “With Niall” She answered. “You called?” She heard Simon’s voice. “Yeah I’d like to quit being in one direction.” Niall sighed. “Think about it for a few days and then I’ll call you back.” Simon said. “Oh okay.” Niall said. Then Simon hung up. Niall looked at the river and walked for a few metres before stopping again. She took of her shoes and socks. Then she sat down and put her feet in the water, not caring how cold it was.

Niall had no idea how long she’d been there. She however that the other’s weren’t pleased with the time she’d been there as they scolded at her when they found her sitting there. “What the hell were you thinking? We’ve been looking for you for hours!” Zayn shouted. “Obviously I was thinking let’s quit this whole girlband thing and Simon said I had to think about it and that’s what I was doing.” Niall shrugged. “You want to quit?” Liam asked shocked. “Now is not the moment to start caring.” Niall said turning to walk away. Liam walked after her, so Niall started running. “Please stay.” Liam begged. “FINE!” Niall said annoyed.

A few months had passed and the girls were on tour. Niall and Liam shared a hotelroom where they were currently sitting, each on their own beds. “hey Liam can I paint your nails?” Niall suddenly asked. Liam looked up from the book she was reading. “Sure.” She smiled. Niall quickly got up and got the utilities she needed. Then she sat down infront of Liam on her bed. “Which colour?” Niall asked excited. “Uhmm…pink or something like that.” Liam smiled happily. “I have ten pinks.” Niall stated. Then she started to paint Liam’s nails, each nail got another pink colour. “Do you like it?” Niall asked when she was finished. “I love it.” Liam smiled. “Do you fancy going to the cinema tonight?” Niall mumbled shyly. “Sounds nice.” Liam mumbled softly. Niall hugged Liam tightly, but careful not to hit Liam’s nails.

“Those twilight films are always a bit shit.” Liam stated in a giggle. “Jupp but hey Ashley Greene is fit no point in denying that.” Niall giggled until she realised what she just said. She was so shocked when she heard Liam say; “True she is rather fit.” The two girl’s stared into eachother’s eyes forgetting about the world. “Did I mention you are beautiful inside and out?” Liam said after a while. Niall shook her head blushing. “Well you are.” Liam said. Niall’s cheeks became redder and redder. “thank you.” she said in a whisper. Liam lent down a little and kissed Niall’s cheek. Niall took Liam’s hand and the girls walked back to their hotel.

“What were you thinking?!” They heard Zayn shout the next morning. “We weren’t” Liam smiled staring at Niall. “Obviously!” Zayn shouted pulling her hand through her hair. “That’s the thing about love you stop thinking for a while.” Liam said not caring Zayn was pissed. “Great and all.” Zayn said “but we have to think about our reputation.” Then Simon walked in. He looked at Niall and Liam. “I told you you should think about if leaving was the right thing.” He smiled at Niall. Niall let out a small giggle. “About that reputation thing, you just gained more fans because of it.” Simon stated, “a part of the LGBT community is glad they have someone they can look up too that isn’t extremely quirky but actually quite normal.” Simon said amused.

“Liam I need to ask you and Niall something.” Harry stated after Zayn and Louis had left. “Ask away.” Liam smiled. Niall sat down on Liam’s lap and put her head on her girlfriend’s chest. “I have a tremendous crush on Louis but I don’t think she likes me that way.” Harry sighed deeply. “How did you two asks eachother out?” Harry asked looking at the two girls. “Harry you just need to do it your own way, just drop some hints and see what happens.” Liam said amused.

“Hey.” Niall had just gotten dressed and now dropped herself on Liam’s bed. “Hey.” Liam smiled. Niall pressed a kiss on Liam’s cheek. Liam giggled and hugged Niall. “I forgot to brush my hair.” Niall stated after the girls cuddled for a while. “I can brush it for you.” Liam offered. Niall smiled. “If you want to.” She said softly. Liam got her hairbrush out of her handbag. Then Niall sat infront of her and she gently started to brush Niall’s hair. When Liam finished she dropped the hairbrush next to her and wrapped her arms around Niall. Then the door flew open. “Where’s Harry?!” Louis shouted. “Last time we saw her she went to see you.” Niall said confused. “Well I can’t find her anywhere.” Louis said concerned. “Who?” a voice said from behind Louis. “Hey Louis I found Harry.” Liam laughed. “Where?” Louis asked. “Turn around.” Liam suggested. So Louis did. “Harry!” She shouted happily and hugged her bestfriend. Harry smiled and hugged Louis back. “I couldn’t find you anywhere!” Louis said pulling a sad face. “I’m sorry.” Harry said pulling a sad face as well. “HUG!” Louis shouted wrapping her arms around Harry tightly. Meanwhile Liam and Niall started mouthing something at eachother and walked to the balcony. Then they slowly climbed down into the hotel garden. Liam grabbed Niall’s hand. “Let’s go for a drive.” Liam smiled. “The only car we have is Louis’…” Niall stated. “She’s borrowing our room, so we’ll borrow her car for a bit.” Liam smiled brightly. “I like the way you think.” Niall giggled. “She gave me spare keys anyways.” Liam said. The girls walked to Louis’ Porsche. They drove not really going anywhere. After a while they stopped at a parking lot by some shopping centre. Niall, who was wearing her favourite dress, stepped outside. Liam quickly followed her. Then it started to rain. “Let’s dance.” Niall smiled. “Sure.” Liam giggled. Niall grabbed Liam’s hands and started to dance. Then she pulled Liam close to her and kissed her lips, first softly, then the girls kissed with more and more passion. “Je t’aime.” Niall whispered. “I love you too.” Liam whispered back

The girls walked back to the car and drove back to the hotel. They quickly went to their room and opened the door to find Louis and Harry kissing. Liam coughed a few times. Louis and Harry looked up with flushed cheeks. “congrats.” Niall grinned. Harry’s cheeks became redder and she ran her hand through her curls. “we should take this back to our own room.” Louis mumbled pulling Harry with her quickly leaving the room.

“Will you go out for dinner with me?” Liam asked. “Of course.” Niall said, “two of my favourite things in the world are involved.” she added softly. “and those are?” Liam asked grinning. “Food and you.” Niall blushed and walked to the closet and grabbed some things out of it. “I’ll see you at 7.” Niall smiled as she walked outside the room. Liam started to get ready. She picked out a blue dress and some heels her sister got her for her birthday. She also got a present she had bought for Niall early in the morning way before Niall woke up. Liam started to straighten her hair, she didn’t do it everyday anymore but this was one of those rare occasions it brought her some weird kind of comfort to do so.

Liam waited downstairs in the hotel for Niall to come. Then Niall stepped out of the elevator wearing a tight red mini dress and converse. Typically Niall, wearing a dress but then pick out casual shoes. Niall ran up to Liam and hugged her. “Yo!” Niall shouted. “Yo yo!” Liam laughed. “You look gorgeous.” Liam smiled her hands lingering on Niall’s waist for a moment. Niall giggled. “Not as gorgeous as you.” She said kissing Liam’s cheek. “Let’s go.” Liam said taking Niall’s hand. “We using Louis’ car again?” Niall asked. “Jupp.” Liam smiled.

“This dinner was lovely.” Niall smiled. Liam bit her lip. “It was.” She smiled. The two girls spend a time walking in silence towards the car. “I-i got you a present.” Liam said. Niall face lit up more than it already had that night. Liam got a box out of her purse and handed it to Niall. Niall carefully opened the box and admired the necklace that was in it. “Thank you so much.” Niall said her eyes watering. “w-want me to put it on?” Liam asked. Niall nodded. Liam put the necklace around Niall’s neck and then turned Niall around and kissed her. “there’s something about the way the street looks when it’s just rained, there’s a glow off the pavement, you walk me to the car and you know I want to ask you to dance right here in the middle of the parking lot.” Niall whispered in Liam’s ear before kissing her back.

The next concert that they had they did a cover of Taylor Swift’s fearless, it fitted them, all five of them. Even Zayn got herself a girlfriend, something nobody expected, they always thought Zayn was just into both, but as she told, she was like a wind-shield-wiper, she went both ways.
